Podium steps are now the preferred choice by safety officers over step ladders and are the only way to achieve HSE approval for low-level work. This is because they provide a 1m high lockable guard rail surrounding the large, non-slip platform which provides the user 360° access to their work and prevent falls from height as they are enclosed safely within the footprint of the podium. Our Industrial Podium Steps are available in 5 different sizes and are effortless to use and can be setup in a matter of seconds.

This platform is accessed by two integral fold out chequer plate steps and a hinged lockable safety gate. Quick and effortless to assemble by 1 person - simply unfold the podium, fit the platform, braces and steps in place and start work in a matter of seconds.

Fitted with 4 large (130mm / 5" diameter) lockable swivel castors which make the podium fully manoeuvrable and also stop wheel rotation and twisting when in use for added safety and stability. Our podium steps are very compact when folded flat for easy storage and transportation. The unit easily passes through doorways and corridors and fits comfortably in the back of most vans or on your roof rack. Also the podium can be rolled along when folded up for easy transportation in confined spaces.

Each podium includes an integral brace bar to hold the podium closed to make it easier to transport - a feature you will not find anywhere else!

Manufactured from aluminium - so lightweight yet robust for frequent, industrial use.Our Podium steps are manufactured from the same 50.2mm (2") diameter aluminium tube as you will find on industrial scaffold towers - so you know they are built to last. Also the strongest welds are used which go around the full diameter of tube.
